Privacy Policy
Effective February 22, 2026
1. Introduction
DealAide, Inc. ("DealAide," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and platform.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account information — name, email address, and password when you register.
- Business information — company name, industry, and related details you provide during onboarding.
- Documents — files you upload to your data room.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically.
- Communications — messages you send us through our contact form.
- Connected accounting data — if you link QuickBooks Online, the accounting data described in section 3 below.
3. Connected Accounting Services (QuickBooks Online)
DealAide can connect to Intuit QuickBooks Online at your instruction, so that your financial statements populate your deal materials without manual re-entry. This connection is optional, and the platform works without it.
What we access. With your authorisation, and using Intuit's accounting scope, we read the following reports from the QuickBooks company you select:
- Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Trial Balance and General Ledger.
- Aged Receivables and Aged Payables.
- Customer Income and Vendor Expenses, used to show revenue and supplier concentration.
We read only. We do not create, modify, or delete anything in your QuickBooks company, and we do not access payroll records or bank account credentials.
How we use it. The figures populate your DealAide financial statements, valuation summary, generated reports, and data room documents, so that you and the buyers you invite can review them. We do not use your accounting data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes. It is visible only to you, the team members you grant access to, and the buyers you explicitly invite to your deal.
How we store it. Imported figures are stored with your business record. The OAuth access and refresh tokens that let us reach Intuit are encrypted at rest, and are never exposed in the interface or in any export.
How to disconnect. You can revoke the connection at any time, either from the Financials tab of your DealAide dashboard or from the Apps section of QuickBooks Online. Disconnecting deletes our stored tokens and stops all further access. Financial figures already imported remain on your deal, because they form part of the materials you have prepared; you can clear those on the Financials tab, or delete your account to remove everything. See our contact section if you would like us to remove imported data for you.

6. Data Security

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not send your accounting data, documents, or deal contents to any analytics provider.
